Michèle studied dentistry at the University of Pretoria (South Africa), qualifying in 1999. She spent 8 years as a general dental practitioner in private practice in South Africa. In 2007 she was awarded a Master of Science in Dentistry by the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa), gaining further experience in Paediatric Dentistry.
Michèle completed her three year orthodontic training at King’s College (University of London) in 2010, and was awarded her MSc and the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, allowing her to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental Council. Michèle has undertaken further training in the use of the IncognitoTM lingual appliance, and is a member of the British and European Orthodontic Societies. She was awarded the Best Poster Award for her research at the Congress of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics in 2010.
