The maple girls wanted to raise some money for charity.  Race for life was being held at Windsor race course at the beginning of July. We all thought this would be a great cause!

We all put our trainers, pink tutus and fairy wings to enter into the spirit of things. It was a lovely sunny day, not too hot and not too cold. Perfect for a walk/run around the race course!!

Clare ran all of it!! The rest of us mainly walked and a few of the girls ran the last stretch to the finish line! We all treated ourselves and our kind supporters to a well deserved ice cream!!

We raised £318.67 and Michael very kindly donated £100 so the total raised by the Maple girls is £418.67!
